The FCN allows the user to add items to it while it is in the status of "Open". After the FCN has been finalised and the status has become despatched , then the "Add FCN Item" disappears.
There are two possible solutions to this:-
- Request the SCM or the Warehouse Manager to "Reopen" the FCN, which will allow additional items to be added or existing items to be edited.
- Create an additional FCN, with the items missing from the first.
The second option is the preference, as the existing FCN may already be in use by other people, and any change may get missed. Hence by adding a new FCN, even if it is on the same flight or Truck the recipients will act accordingly, and nothing will get missed.
