How do I edit a group in the Catalogue?

The catalogue consists of three levels of grouping of items.

  1. the Working Group
  2. Level 2 Groups
  3. Level 3 Groups

The system provides a mechanism for authorised Users to Add, Edit or Modify these Groups.

Changes / Additions to Working Groups

In order to edit or add new Working groups:-

  • Find the "Working Group" Table in the HOME Table bar
  • Click on it, to bring up a report showing all the working Groups, 
  • Select the one you need to change, and edit appropriately or click on the add working Group.
  • Then save the record.

Note any changes to the Working Groups need to done in conjunction with the Supply Chain manager.

Changes / Additions to Level 2 Groups

In order to make changes to the Level 2 groups, follow a similar process:

  • Find the "Working Group" Table in the HOME Table Bar,
  • Click on it, to bring up a report showing all the working Groups, 
  • Select the one in which the Level 2 Group resides, and view the record. 
  • In the lower half of the screen you will see the Level 2 records related to the Working Group
  • Click on the Eye to View the Record,
  • Edit appropriately or click on the "Add Level 2 Group"  button to add a new record.
  • Then save the record.

Changes / Additions to Level 3 Groups

In order to make changes to the Level 3 groups, follow a similar process:

  • Find the "Level 2 Group" Table in the HOME Table Bar,
  • Click on it, to bring up a report showing all the Level 2 groups, 
  • Select the one in which the Level 3 Group resides, and view the record. 
  • In the lower half of the screen you will see the Level 3 records related to the Level 2 Group.
  • Click on the Eye to View the Record,
  • Edit appropriately or click on the "Add Level 3 Group" buton to add a new record.
  • Then save the record.
